WhatsApp—an instant messaging application— have shared an update with around two billion active users worldwide that will literally save their precious time to read ‘unread’ messages.

The “unread” chat filter will help users to sort the unread chats for their convenience. WhatsApp shared this update on its official Twitter handle.

The Android and IOS messengers now have a chat filter that allows users to only see chats with unread messages.

WhatsApp has just announced another new feature, where users can now sort unread messages.

To date, the upload has been liked by more than 1,309 users and retweeted more than 177 times. The presence of this feature, of course, makes users no longer need to spend time scrolling looking for old messages that have not been read.  How to show unread messages on WhatsApp more easily?

According to the most recent update, the Meta-owned platform is working on a feature that will allow users to check the status of their contacts directly from the chat list. To see the Status, the user must tap on the contact's profile picture in the chat list.

As per the reports, WhatsApp is presently evaluating the new update on only WhatsApp beta users running Android Because the feature is still in testing and it is unclear when the latest update will be available to users worldwide.
