Pakistan to face England in second Test at Lord’s from August 27

Pakistan and England will meet in the second Test of their three-match series at Lord’s from August 27, with England leading the series 1-0.

England defeated Pakistan by an innings and 103 runs in the opening Test at Headingley, securing a strong advantage in the series.

According to 24NewsHD TV, the defeat has also pushed Pakistan to the bottom of the World Test Championship points table. Pakistan now has 19.05 percentage points, placing them below the West Indies.

England secured important World Test Championship points with their comprehensive victory on the third day of the Headingley Test.

The result is a further concern for Pakistan, who were already near the bottom of the World Test Championship standings. The defeat has made their position even more difficult.

Pakistan will now need a much stronger performance with both bat and ball at Lord’s if they are to level the three-match series.

England, meanwhile, will look to build on their dominant opening Test performance and take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
