Rakhi Sawant names her favourite team ahead of Pakistan vs India match

Rakhi Sawant on Saturday revealed the name of her favourite team ahead of the high-octane India-Pakistan match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 that is scheduled to be played in Dubai on Sunday (Feb 23).

Talking to the media, Rakhi said she is supporting both countries because she is India's daughter and Pakistan's bahu-to-be. She said that both countries are like separated brothers from the same mother. 

Clad in a blue and green shirt representing the colours of the Indian and Pakistani cricket jerseys, Rakhi said that she is supporting both countries. She said that Feb 23 is going to be a fun day. She said that what matters the most is sportsmanship; both teams should play their best game.  

Earlier in the day, Bollywood actor-dancer Rakhi Sawant reacted after Maharashtra Cyber Cell summoned her in Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina’s ‘India’s Got Latent’ row.

The Maharashtra Cyber Cell of India, which has been probing the case involving YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia’s ‘India’s Got Latent’ controversy, has now summoned Rakhi Sawant to appear before the officials on February 27, to record her statement in the matter.

Sawant featured as a guest in one of the episodes of Samay Raina’s show.

Reacting to the summon, she said, "What is the logic behind sending me summons? You video call me; I’ll answer every question.”

Speaking further about her appearance on ‘IGL’, Sawant shared, “I am an artist who was paid to be present for an interview. I didn’t even cuss at anyone. So there is no logic to summon me.”
