Mohsin Naqvi reaches Italy for meeting with European counterparts on illegal migration

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has arrived in Italy for high-level meetings with his counterparts from Italy, Greece and Spain to discuss cooperation on curbing illegal immigration and other key issues.

During the visit, the interior ministers of Italy, Greece and Spain are expected to acknowledge the efforts of Pakistan’s Interior Ministry in tackling illegal migration.

A Punjab Police officer will also brief the European ministers on the Punjab government’s Police Khidmat Markaz Global initiative, which has reportedly received appreciation across Europe for facilitating overseas Pakistanis.

Officials said the meeting will also include detailed discussions on other matters of mutual interest between Pakistan and the three European countries.
