Pakistan Navy’s Aman-21 exercise to host 40 countries
A Pakistan Navy (PN) spokesperson has said Pakistan Navy is going to arrange 7th multinational maritime peace exercise AMAN-21 in February this year under the motto of "Together for Peace", reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The Navy's DGPR said that the AMAN exercise is a platform where the international navies come together to achieve peace and exchange joint operations and experiences.
The spokesman said, “This year the navies of more than 40 countries would participate in the multinational exercise AMAN-21 with their assets under the motto of "Together for Peace".”
“The Pakistan Navy Peacekeeping Exercise will play an important role in strengthening maritime cooperation, promoting a safe maritime environment and building regional and global maritime peace and stability,” the spokesman further added.
It is pertinent to note that beginning in 2007, Exercise AMAN has regularly been conducted every two years.
