Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid has said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is right when he says a no-confidence move is the only way through which the government could be sent home, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a presser in Lahore on Saturday, Sheikh Rashid said Bilawal’s statement showed that he had become politically mature.
“Public gatherings and rallies by the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) would make no difference,” he added.
The minister categorically stated that Justice (r) Sheikh Azmat Saeed would not be removed as head of the inquiry committee formed by the government on Broadsheet issue. “What will be the consequences of probe into Broadsheet issue? Nobody knows,” he added.

Sheikh Rashid made it clear to the opposition parties that the government would reply to them in the same coin if they committed any act of mischief or resorted to violence.
He categorically denied the allegation levelled by JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman that the government was contemplating recognising Israel. “There is no question of recognising Israel,” the minister asserted.
Similarly, Sheikh Rashid rubbished the allegation that the government had softened its stance on finality of prophethood.
He also listed government’s measures to internationalize the Kashmir issue.
