Govt forms JIT to probe Imran Khan attack

The federal government Monday formed a joint investigation team (JIT) to investigate the incident of attack on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in Wazirabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The five-member JIT was formed under the chairmanship of Railways Inspector General of Police (IGP) Rao Sardar Khan.
The committee includes the representatives of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Intelligence Bureau (IB), and Military Intelligence (MI).
The JIT will investigate the attack on Imran Khan.
It is to be noted here that gunshots had been fired at Imran Khan on November 3, 2022 in Wazirabad.
