Pakistan’s tax to GDP ratio is ‘shameful’: Ishaq Dar

Former finance minister and President International Affairs Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Ishaq Dar has termed the news that Pakistan’s tax to GDP ratio is lowest in 20 years ‘shameful’ performance of Imran Khan’s government.
“Another sad news: Pakistan’s Tax to GDP ratio is lowest in 20 years #Shameful performance of Imran Niazi government,” Ishaq Dar said in a tweet posted on his official Twitter account.

The former finance minister posted a graph of Bloomberg that stated that Pakistan’s tax income as percent of GDP is lowest in 20 years. Bloomberg quoted Pakistan’s finance ministry.
