Sara Ali Khan backs ‘NEET protesters’, urges justice for students
Indian actress Sara Ali Khan has joined a growing list of celebrities speaking out in support of students protesting against the NEET examination controversy, urging authorities to protect the future of the country's youth.
Taking to her Instagram handle, the Bollywood actress shared an emotional statement expressing solidarity with students who have taken to the streets following the alleged NEET paper leak controversy. The examination row has sparked nationwide protests, with thousands of students demanding transparency, accountability, and reforms in India's examination system after allegations of question paper leaks and irregularities.
"Our students are our future and their future tugs at the very heart of our nation," Sara wrote.
She praised the students' determination, saying their resolve "burns like a quiet, unquenchable flame" and described their peaceful movement as a reminder that true patriotism lies in standing up for justice.
"Their courage and determination to seek a better and safer future is both inspiring and stirring; a powerful awakening of our shared conscience. We must listen to them with open hearts, care deeply and walk beside them. Their dreams are woven into ours. Our dreams live in theirs," she added.
Sara also expressed confidence that the government would respond positively to the students' demands.
"As an optimistic patriot, I have immense faith that our government will deliver justice," she concluded.
