AJK too imposes lockdown to confront corona
The AJK administration has announced a three-week lockdown as the anti-coronavirus is being intensified across the country.
The Azad Jammu Kashmir area is still the safest in the country with only one coronavirus patient has been tested positive so far.
All the provinces have already imposed the emergency measures including partial and complete lockdowns to curtail the virus.
During the lockdown, people will not be allowed to travel or go outside unnecessarily; transport will be suspended. One person from each family will be allowed to go out to purchase food and special passes will be issued to people for travelling in unavoidable circumstances. The government asked people to carry their CNICs with them if they have to go out in extreme situations while journalists will be issued special passes and emergency services will remain functional.
