Salman Ali Agha admits New Zealand outplay Pakistan in fourth T20

Pakistan skipper Salman Ali Agha admitted his team was completely outplayed by New Zealand in the fourth T20I on Sunday, as the hosts secured a commanding 115-run victory to take an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match series.

Chasing a massive 221-run target, Pakistan’s batting lineup collapsed under pressure, managing only 105 runs before being bowled out in 16.2 overs.

Speaking at the post-match presentation, Salman credited New Zealand for their dominant performance.

“They bowled really well and completely outplayed us. Credit goes to them,” Salman stated.

The captain also pointed out the challenges posed by the pitch conditions in the second innings, where the ball was swinging and turning significantly, making shot-making difficult.

“The ball was swinging and turning, making it difficult in the second innings. But as international cricketers, we need to adapt and do better,” he emphasized.

Despite the disappointing loss, Salman called on his team to regroup and focus on finishing the series on a positive note.

“It was challenging with so much swing, but we need to regroup and aim to win the last game,” he added.
