Zardari pays tribute to Begum Nusrat Bhutto on her 96th birth anniversary 

President Asif Ali Zardari has paid tribute to Begum Nusrat Bhutto on her 96th birth anniversary and said she was a great political figure in Pakistani history, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
In his message, President Asif Ali Zardari said Begum Nusrat Bhutto's life was a symbol of courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to democracy. 
President said Begum Nusrat Bhutto bravely faced the darkest era of dictatorship. Begum Nusrat Bhutto led the struggle to restore democracy.
Begum Nusrat Bhutto endured immense personal and political hardships with patience and dignity, the president said.
He said that Begum Nusrat Bhutto faced the worst conditions of her husband's unjust arrest, martyrdom, and political revenge.
Begum Nusrat Bhutto remained steadfast in her determination and independence and led the Pakistan People's Party in a dark era, the president said.
He stated Begum Nusrat Bhutto's sacrifices and services for democracy will always be remembered. 
Today, we reaffirm our commitment to the mission of Begum Nusrat Bhutto, he further stated.
May Allah Almighty grant Begum Nusrat Bhutto a high position in Paradise, the president prayed.
