World leaders express grief over Karachi plane crash

World leaders have expressed their sorrow over the tragic plane crash in Karachi, which claimed the lives of 97 people, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Russian President Vladimir Putin in a message expressed his deepest condolences and said, “The people of Russia share the grief of those who lost their families and friends in this disaster, hope for a quick recovery of all who were injured.

Canadian Prime Justin Trudeau described it as a devastating news and said, “To the families and friends of those who lost their lives in the crash of PK 8303, and to everyone affected by this terrible tragedy, our hearts go out to you.”

Similarly, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he was deeply saddened by the loss of life.

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani said, “I offer my sincere commiserations to the people and the Government of Pakistan. Afghans stand by you in this moment of grief.

On the other hand, Indian Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said, “News of survivors is a ray of hope and I pray that there are many miraculous stories of survival tonight.”
