Four killed as rival groups clash in Shikarpur

Four people were killed in a shootout between two rival groups in Shikarpur on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Reportedly, two rival groups belonging to Marfani tribe traded fire in Shahim Marfani village in Shikarpur, resulting in death of four people.
The deceased were identified as Abdul Ghani, Sudhir, Ofaan and Hashim Marfani.
Police have shifted the bodies to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Garhi Yaseen.
Police said the shootout was the result of old enmity between the Marfani groups.
Four persons recovered
In another development in Shikarpur, police on Sunday recovered four kidnapped persons who were snatched on May 3 this year.

Police were tipped that the kidnappers were shifting the snatched persons. They encountered the dacoits in Duk Band area and safely recovered the kidnapped people namely Wajid Ali s/o Shaukat Ali Saithar, Usama s/o Yar Muhammad Saithar, Imran s/o Ali Bakhsh Golo and Abid s/o Ilai Bukhsh Golo.
Police also arrested two dacoits.
Man shot dead during wedding ceremony
A man was shot dead during a wedding ceremony in Mauza Pardan Sharqi in Taunsa Sharif on Sunday.
Muhammad Yaqoob, aged 40, was hit by the bullet in neck and died on the spot. Two other persons including 14 years old Muhammad Ali and 27 years old Inamullah got injured in the firing.
The injured were taken to the hospital.
