Smart lockdown imposed in 17 Hyderabad areas till Dec 5

A 'smart lockdown' has been imposed in 17 areas of six different union councils of Hyderabad from Monday morning till Dec 5 in view of increasing positivity ratio of coronavirus cases, reported 24NewsHD TV.

The UCs where lockdown will be imposed include UC-1 of City taluka; UCs 4 and 16 of Latifabad taluka; UCs 3, 4 and 5 of Qasimabad taluka.

The masks have been made compulsory for everyone in the lockdown areas.

All the markets including shopping malls and would stay shut till December 5 in these areas. However, the shops that deal with essential goods, hospitals and medical stores will stay open.
