Judicial Commission approves three additional judges for IHC

The Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) unanimously approved three names of judges for Islamabad High Court on Tuesday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, all three names for the additional judges were proposed by the Chief Justice of IHC.
The JCP Tuesday held a meeting under the chairmanship of Chief Justice of Supreme Court Justice Gulzar Ahmed to consider the proposed names for additional judges in IHC.
The sources said that the commission had recommended the proposed three names to the Parliamentary Committee for Appointment of Judges for final approval.
The IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah had nominated the names of Barrister Sardar Ijaz Ishaq Khan, Arbab Muhammad Tahir and Saman Rafat Imtiaz for additional judges.
The sources said all the members of the Judicial Commission have agreed on the names nominated by the Chief Justice of the IHC.
