Cook gets bail in Noor Mukaddam murder case

Jameel Ahmed, cook of Zahir Zakir Jaffer, principal accused in the murder case of Noor Mukaddam, daughter of former Pakistan’s envoy, was released on bail by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Justice Aamer Farooq of the IHC pronounced the verdict reserved in the case.
Jameel was asked to submit surety bonds of Rs50,000.
Noor Mukaddam, daughter of Shaukat Mukaddam, was brutally murdered by her friend Zahir Zakir Jaffer a few months back who tortured her for hours before killing her when the former reportedly refused to marry him.
The gruesome incident created an outrage among the nation, which demanded immediate justice in the case.
