Ruet-e-Hilal Committee meets today for moonsighting 

A meeting of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be held today (Thursday) for sighting of Jumadi al-Awwal moon, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Meetings of zonal and district Ruet-e-Hilal Committees across the country will be held at their headquarters this evening and in this regard, notification has been issued.

The meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Kohsar Block, Pak Secretariat.

Chairman Maulana Syed Abdul Khabir Azad will preside over the meeting in Islamabad.

Members of the Central Committee will attend their respective provincial and district meetings.

All information related to the sighting of the moon will be provided to the Ministry of Religious Affairs while the final announcement of the sighting or not of the moon will be made by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
