‘Little Earthquake’ hits 24@9

There was a ‘little earthquake’ when social media sensation Nimra Ali was invited to 24NewsHD TV channel’s morning programme, 24@9, on Wednesday.
Nimra with his energy, cuteness, innocence, witty utterances and the ‘lightning speed’ with which she talked mesmerized her viewers and the whole studio was full of waves of laughter for as long as she was on the screen.
Nimra Ali who was earlier interviewed by a reporter of City42, a sister organization of 24NewsHD TV channel, while she was hanging out in a park with her cousin and she passionately expressed her wish to be on television.
During her fun chat with anchors Abuzar Moazzam Butt and Seemal Hashmi, Nimra fired a ‘cracker’ after cracker much to the amusement of her hosts.
She was also given a tour of the channel, taken to the makeup room and given a makeover before appearing live at the show.

In the show, Nimra said: “When I gave the interview and the video clip went viral on social media platforms my friend told me that people are giving negative comments about it. To which I replied people don’t stop criticizing on videos of TikTok star Jannat Mirza. I’m not bothered about the negative comments. But I am highly thankful to those who appreciated me on twitter.”

She further added, “When I was singing live at the show my friends made fun of me but then I said to them one day I’ll be famous and you would be waiting to meet me. And today see I am at the TV show. ”
When the anchor asked Nimra about her marks in Matric, she said: “I have just passed the exams of Matric class. Highly disappointed by the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education because of the COVID-19 situation they couldn’t check papers properly and gave me 700 marks.”
When asked what you want to become in the future, Nimra said: “My dream is to become an anchor. When I used to go to my grandmother’s house we used to see dilapidated roads and I used to tell my mother once I will become an anchor I will resolve the road issues of this area and raise problems of the people.”
