Johnny Depp, an American actor, whose legal battle against his ex-wife Amber Heard in a court of Virginia gained worldwide fame, is now reported to have been dating Joelle Rich, a lawyer who had defended him in his libel battle against a British tabloid newspaper, The Sun.

The London-based attorney is reportedly married but separated, and her divorce may not yet be legally binding.

Depp, ignited romance rumors earlier this summer with Camille Vasquez, another lawyer who defended Johnny in his successful US defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard.

Vasquez promptly put an end to the rumors, calling them "sexist" and "unethical."

She told People, "I care very deeply for my clients, and we have obviously gotten close. However, I am referring to the entire team, which of course includes Johnny, when I say "we."

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor had been Vasquez's buddy and client for four and a half years, she said.

“It’s also an unethical charge being made. It’s sexist,” she added. “It’s unfortunate, and it’s disappointing, but at the same time, it kind of comes with the territory. I can’t say I was all that surprised.”

Rich was reportedly present in the courtroom even though she was not one of the attorneys who worked on the US case.

The mother-of-two British attorney was in Virginia to "support" the Oscar nominee. It is also a rumor that Rich and Depp would "discreetly" meet up at hotels in the beginning of their relationship because "there was no professional requirement for her to be there."
