Ducky Bhai’s first statement post arrest

Saad-ur-Rehman, commonly known as Ducky Bhai, said that he apologizes to the nation for his roasting videos and for promoting the betting app.

In an interview after he was being taken for the second four-day remand, Ducky said that he apologized to the nation for making roasting videos earlier which was unethical. Now he apologizes for promotion of the betting app without verification. He said that he did not know if it was banned because it had been normalized so much being shown on the national television and on the PSL jerseys.

Ducky’s lawyer claimed that it has been plead to the court that he be sent to the judicial remand. He also said that they have present images of the betting app being displayed on the PSL jerseys under supervision of the government and he believes that “Saad is being victimized.”

According to FIA investigators, Ducky allegedly promoted several online gambling platforms, including Binomo, 1xBet, Bet365 and B9 Game, through his YouTube content.

Officials claim that these promotions encouraged viewers to invest money in gambling schemes, some of which are linked to international syndicates.

He was arrested at the Lahore Airport on August 17. An FIR was registered against him the same day under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016 and sections of the Pakistan Penal Code.
