Karachi terror plot foiled: Police seize bags of deadly weapons

Police foiled a major terrorist plot after recovering two bags filled with heavy weapons and explosives in the Korangi Industrial Area on Sunday, 24NewsHD TV reported.

According to officials, an FIR has been registered on behalf of the state, with seven anti-terrorism sections included in the case. 

The seizure included two ARG hand grenades, two GD hand grenades, three ARGS hand grenades, and nine rifle grenades without launchers.

In addition, police recovered three pistols, ninety-five LMG bullets, seventy-five three-bore bullets, and one thousand SMK bullets from another blue-coloured bag.

All weapons and ammunition have been sealed, and police have launched an investigation against unknown suspects.
