Plane escapes disaster at Islamabad Airport

A plane escaped a disaster during landing at Islamabad International Airport on Thursday, reported 24News HD TV channel, quoting sources.

During the landing, a bird hit the Serene Air plane coming from Karachi, cracking its front glass.

The pilot of the plane showed alertness and managed to land the plane at the Islamabad International Airport. All the passengers and crew were safe.

As a result, the Serene Air return flight from Islamabad to Karachi has been cancelled.
