Will honour our commitments fully, Moonis tells NA Speaker

Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser Thursday held a telephonic conversation with Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PL-Q) MNA and Federal Minister for Water Moonis Elahi to discuss the prevailing political situation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Later, Moonis Elahi took Twitter to give detail about their conversation.

He wrote that he has conveyed to NA Speaker that political discussions and consultations are going on.

“This does not mean any decision has been taken. We are bound to our commitments and will honour them fully,” added Elahi.

The PML-Q has taken a centre stage despite having a few numbers in both the National and Punjab Assembly as the opposition alliance is trying hard to convince the government's key ally to leave the coalition and support their move of no-trust motion to change the men at the helm both in the centre and Punjab.
