PHF unveils team management as Pakistan depart for World Cup Qualifiers in Egypt

The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has announced the management of the national men’s team for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers, set to take place in Egypt from March 1 to 7, 24News HD TV reported on Tuesday.

According to the federation, Olympian Khawaja Junaid has been appointed as head coach for the crucial qualifying event.

He will be assisted by Azfar Yaqoob, while Sultan Ashraf has been named video analyst.

Farrukh Atiq Khan will serve as the team manager during the tournament.

The national squad has departed from Islamabad to participate in the qualifiers, which will determine entry into the next Hockey World Cup.

The team will be led on the field by captain Imad Butt, who is expected to anchor Pakistan’s campaign with his experience and leadership.

With a refreshed management setup and a determined squad, the Green Shirts aim to deliver a strong performance in Egypt and secure their place in the prestigious global event.
