Toyota eyes more Rs460m to deliver cars for Punjab govt babus

Toyota Motors Monday demanded another Rs460m to deliver cars against the order placed by the Punjab government for bureaucrats, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Toyota revised receipts for the 46 cars as it has recently increased the prices of various vehicles.
The matter will be presented before the provincial cabinet for approval of Rs460 million payment to the company.
Toyota Motors increased the prices for various models of cars three times in the last couple of months.
Separately, the Punjab Austerity Committee approved Rs150 million to buy 26 new cars for the Punjab Mines and Minerals Department.
