UoE organises 1st virtual conference on material sciences

The University of Education (UoE) is organising the first international conference titled ‘Advances in Material Sciences’. According to(UoE) Public Relations Director Sheheryar Ahmad Khan, scientists from nine states – including the US, China, Australia, Malaysia, Germany, South Korea and Pakistan – are participating in the two-day virtual moot.
In the inaugural address on Friday, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha highlighted the importance of such conferences, saying the moot will promote knowledge-sharing and play the part as a platform to develop links among participants and researchers. More than 30 papers will be read out during the conference, he said.
The vice-chancellor stress the need for promoting research and technology to give a boost to industrial output. He said the varsity continue playing its part for the cause.
The university has the honour of producing outclass scientists and educationists, the VC said and hoped this conference will be a step forward to achieve educational goals.
