PM Imran again calls meeting of PTI’s political committee today
Prime Minister Imran Khan has again called a meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) political committee on Thursday (today) to take stock of the upcoming no-confidence motion and the ‘number game’ in the Parliament, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The meeting, scheduled to be held in Islamabad this afternoon, will be chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan during which he and other participants will be apprised of a recent meeting between PTI and its ally MQM-P [Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan].
The meeting will also think over political strategy of the party and preparations for the March 27 public meeting in Islamabad.
It is worth mentioning here that the ruling PTI is struggling very hard to gather the support of its allies against the opposition’s no-trust move against the prime minister.
The opposition, however, seems very confident and claims that the prime minister will soon be removed through a vote of no-confidence in the Parliament.
