Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain said that the nomination of the Governor of Punjab is the mandate of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

He said they neither were consulted nor have given any advice in this regard.

While talking to media in Gujrat, he said that development projects were discussed with government allies, not ministries.

He said we never asked Chaudhry Pervez Elahi to leave the Imran Khan while Moonis Elahi himself told Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain that politics will be his own.

Ch Salik Hussain said Mohsin Naqvi is an independent candidate for Senate and they will support him.

Talking about ministry affairs, he said after taking charge, it was realized that even in the ministry, everything is sold and the institutions have become hollow from inside.

The Federal Minister said the ministry is making a detailed plan for the overseas Pakistanis and creating a portal for overseas complaints.

He said initially the embassies of Saudi Arabia, UAE, America, England and Spain will be linked with NADRA to ease overseas Pakistanis issues.

Over the issues related to properties in Pakistan, he said embassies will also make a regular video of declaration of transferable property on biometric.

He further said that after success government will expand its scope to other countries. He also confirmed that ministry offices are going to be built in Gujarat.
