There was another huge increase witnessed in the prices of gold in Pakistani jewellers markets Tuesday as the price of the glittering metal continued its record-breaking spree in the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The price of 24-carat gold went up by Rs1950 per tola. With this flight of gold, the price of 24-carat gold reached Rs143,600, according to All Sindh Jewellers Association.

The price of 10-gram gold of 24-carat has also been increased by Rs1672 to reach Rs123,114.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold of 22-carat has also popped by Rs1532 and now is being traded for Rs112,854.

The increase in the gold prices in Pakistan is attributed to the historic surge in the dollar price in the country as the price of the precious yellow metal went down in the international market.

In the international market, the price of gold per ounce was decreased by $4. The international rate for gold per ounce has now reached $1858.

There was no change in the price of Silver both in the country as well as internationally.

The price of 24-carat silver remained at Rs1590 and 10-gram silver remained Rs1363.16.
