Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has decided not to hold further public rallies as Section 144 has been imposed throughout Punjab, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The ruling PML-N has temporarily suspended its public engagement campaign and announced that the party will not hold any more jalsas for now.

Section 144 has been enforced in Punjab prohibiting all kinds of public gatherings.

On Monday, PML-N had cancelled its Okara rally due to ‘bad weather’ where PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz were scheduled to address the masses.
