Massive blaze breaks out at Industrial Road warehouse in Gujranwala

A major fire broke out on Industrial Road in Gujranwala on Monday, engulfing a warehouse used for storing PVC pipes and insulation material, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

Rescue sources said that fire and emergency teams reached the site immediately after receiving reports of the incident. 

The blaze quickly spread and covered an area of approximately one kanal, causing significant damage to stored materials.

Officials confirmed that five fire vehicles were actively engaged in firefighting operations to bring the situation under control. 

After sustained efforts, rescue teams reported that around 90 per cent of the fire had been extinguished, although cooling operations were still in progress at the time of reporting.

Authorities further stated that no casualties had been reported so far, and the situation was being closely monitored to prevent any further escalation.
