The Rabita Committee’s meeting of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has created political turmoil, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

According to the TV report, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has taken resignations from its members of the National and Provincial Assemblies and senators for not addressing its concerns over the digital census 2023. To deal with the situation, the government became active in persuading the coalition ruling party.

In this regard, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif made a phone call to MQM convener Khalid Maqbool and held a long conversation with him.

Prime Minister assured the MQM-P to clear all their reservations at the earliest.

According to the sources, a delegation of MQM-P will meet Prime Minister and federal ministers in Islamabad on Wednesday.

The delegation will include Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Aminul Haq, Farooq Sattar, and Javed Hanif.

The sources said that the delegation will apprise the premier about their reservations regarding the census.
