CTD foils attempt to smuggle 350kg dynamite in Bajaur

Counter-Terrorism Department Malakand Division has foiled an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of dynamite and explosive material from Lower Dir to Bajaur and arrested four persons, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

The CTD officials seized 350 kilograms of dynamite and 25 kilograms of explosive material from two vehicles. The CTD SSP said they also took into custody 2,250 meter prima cards, 200 meter safety fuses and 100 detonators.

Addressing a news conference, SSP Izhar Shah said that they also arrested four accused from the two vehicles, who were paraded before the media.

The journalists also inspected the huge quantity of the explosives put on display by the CTD officials at the press conference.
