Low visibility shuts several motorways

The plain areas of Punjab were blanketed in thick fog on Saturday morning and the administration kept several motorways shut owing to low visibility, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The M2 from Lahore to Kot Momin, M11 from Lahore to Sialkot and M3 from Faizpur Lahore to Darkhana and motorway from Lahore to Sumandari were closed for all kind of traffic. 

Apart from this, the traffic flow was affected on all national thoroughfares of the city. 

On the other hand, Faisalabad and Lahore keep switching their positions to atop the list of most polluted city of the world as Faisalabad became the dirtiest city and its air quality index was recorded 439 followed by Lahore. The air quality of Lahore was recorded at 356.
