EU team discusses Kashmir situation, Afghan peace with COAS

A delegation of the European Union (EU) called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
The delegates discussed with the army chief peace process in Afghanistan, situation in Indian-occupied Kashmir and tension on the Line of Control between Pakistan and India.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), media wing of the Pakistan Army, officials from Belgium, Germany, Italy, Holland, Spain, Sweden and Romania were part of the delegation, which met the army chief. Matters of mutual interest and regional security came under discussion at the meeting and the EU delegation praised Pakistan for its role in the aforementioned areas.
