PML-N Punjab Assembly member Malik Nadeem Kamran and top boss of Pakistan Railways have contracted coronavirus, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

The TV channel quoting its sources reported that Malik Nadeem may not be able to cast his vote in upcoming Senate elections due on March 3 as he has gone into quarantine after testing positive for Covid-19. 

Railway Chairman Habib-ur-Rehman Gilani has also contracted Covid-19.

The TV channel said that Railways Additional Secretary Arif Anwar Baloch has been appointed as Acting Chairman of Pakistan Railways (PR).
