At least three people died in a coal mine blast near Jhampir in Sindh, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

Local lawmen, rescuers and admin officials rushed to the site.

According to police, two bodies have been retrieved while the hunt for another is underway. 

The incident occurred due to the gas blast.

As the blast created panic, top cops and admin officers too reached the site.
