ISPR’s Winter Internship Programme 2026 continues in KP

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Winter Internship Programme 2026 continued for the students of different universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
The ISPR’s Winter Internship Programme is underway, which aims to apprise the students about the defence sector and enhance patriotism.
The students visited the Special Services Group (SSG) Para Training School in Peshawar, where a comprehensive and detailed briefing was given to the students.
SSG’s expert instructors highlighted para jumps and also presented practical demonstrations.
The students expressed keen interest in the special equipment used by paratroopers and also experienced tower jumps themselves.
All the students praised the discipline, professionalism, and sacrifices of the SSG commandos.
At the end of the visit, the students described the educational and training environment of the Para Training School as very useful.
Students termed the initiative timely and necessary, saying such internships help bridge gaps between perceptions and realities.
 Several students said the sessions had allowed them to learn, think critically, and understand national issues beyond textbooks and social media narratives.
“Many misconceptions have already been cleared,” a participant said, adding that the interaction with professionals and on-ground exposure had been a valuable learning experience. Students expressed hope that the remaining sessions would further enhance their understanding.
Participants also voiced appreciation for the opportunity to engage directly with the Pakistan Army, stating that programmes like this help build trust and awareness among the youth. Man

ISPR officials said similar youth-focused initiatives would continue in the future as part of efforts to engage students and develop informed future leaders.
