It is raining in different parts of Sindh province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
It has been learnt that it is raining intermittently in Larkana, Mohenjodaro and suburban areas.
According to the Meteorological Department, 23 mm of rain was recorded in Larkana city during the last 24 hours.
Whereas, at least 45 mm of rain was recorded in Mohenjodaro during the last 24 hours.
There is a possibility of more intermittent rain in Larkana, Mohenjodaro and suburban areas in the next 24 hours.
In Khairpur, it is raining heavily, and it has left more than 20 electricity feeders tripped.
The rain beat the heat; however, it caused a loss of billions of rupees by wreaking havoc on the crops of mango and date.
The standing crops have been inundated due to rain. Flooding alert has been issued to the locals.
Meanwhile, the streams in Kachho area of Kirthar has been filled with water. The locals, who had earlier migrated due to drought, have started returning to the area.
Furthermore, the rain continues in the mountain range of Dadu. The flow of water in Gaj Stream of Kachho has risen to 20 feet. The water, overflowed from the stream, has entered houses in the area.
However, Dadu police have reached Kachho to help the flood victims and a rescue operation is underway on the orders of Dadu SSP Irfan Ali Samo.
All the station house officers (SHOs) have been ordered to cooperate with the civil administration in case of any emergency.
