In Khairpur, it is raining heavily, and it has left more than 20 electricity feeders tripped.

The rain beat the heat; however, it caused a loss of billions of rupees by wreaking havoc on the crops of mango and date.

The standing crops have been inundated due to rain. Flooding alert has been issued to the locals.

Meanwhile, the streams in Kachho area of Kirthar has been filled with water. The locals, who had earlier migrated due to drought, have started returning to the area.

However, Dadu police have reached Kachho to help the flood victims and a rescue operation is underway on the orders of Dadu SSP Irfan Ali Samo.

All the station house officers (SHOs) have been ordered to cooperate with the civil administration in case of any emergency.
