Pakistan army chief, Saudi commander discuss regional security
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Commander Royal Saudi Land Forces Lt-Gen Fahd Bin Abdullah Al-Mutair had a meeting on Thursday.
According to the ISPR, military training, defence cooperation and regional peace came under discussion during the meeting.
General Qamar Javed Bajwa said the Pakistan Army values defence ties with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the ISPR said, adding that the Saudi commander acknowledged the role of Pakistan’s armed forces in bringing peace to the region especially the Afghan Peace Process.
