Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed revealed that the federal government intended to deseat Senator Ishaq Dar and he would be replaced with incumbent Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin. 

Sheikh Rasheed revealed this update while speaking in 10Tak programme of 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Interior Minister said, “If Ishaq Dar would not come back to the country then he would be deseated from his Senate seat after the government would bring a legislation in this regard. Then, Shaukat Tareen would become a senator.”

“Certainly, Ishaq Dar will not come back and he would be deseated once the ordinance promulgates,” Sheikh Rasheed said.

He also commented that Shehbaz Sharif is a “mild person” and a man of negotiations.

“Imran Khan already felt that Nawaz Sharif went abroad and if Shehbaz Sharif would have gone abroad then it was meant as some sort of understanding and dealing,” he added.

“Imran Khan does not want any kind of understanding at any cost,” the minister added.
