PM Imran announces two projects for youth

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday said the government would launch two programmes for providing jobs to the youth, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In his address to the country’s youth, Imran Khan said there were limits to the government’s capacity to recruit people. “Mostly either people get jobs in the private sector or they start their own businesses,” he opined.

He further said over 0.1 million scholarships would be offered under the Prime Minister Skill Education programme. “Out of these 50, 000 scholarships would be offered to the youth for their training in higher technologies,” the prime minister said, and added, “Rs100 billion Fund has been set up for those wishing to start their own businesses, but the loans would only be provided to the youth for the purpose if they meet the criterion.”
PM Imran said it would be his government’s endeavor to increase the amount allocated for the youth every year.
He said that joblessness was a big problem for the youth. “And today the private sector offers job opportunities to the youth,” he added.
He assured the youth that under these programmes they would get the jobs they had never dreamt of.
The prime minister said it would be the government’s endeavor to reach out to the maximum number of youth.
