Quetta Gladiators' all-rounder Anwar Ali has contracted Covid-19 as his test report came back positive, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The player will not be travelling with the rest of the team to Abu Dhabi to play PSL6 remaining matches as he has been quarantined on a separate floor at a hotel in Karachi.

Moreover, the Sindh government has decided to set up vaccine centres in 12 schools in the sprawling city of Karachi.

The vaccine centres will be established in schools of Jamshed Town and Gulshan Iqbal. Sindh Education Department has notified the directive.
