Nine 'Indian-sponsored terrorists' killed in KP operations
Nine Indian sponsored-militants have been killed in three encounters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
An intelligence-based operation was conducted by the security forces in Dera Ismail Khan District on reports of presence of Indian sponsored militants.
During the of operation, troops effectively engaged the militants and killed four of them after an intense exchange of fire.
Another intelligence-based operation was conducted in Tank District. In the ensuing exchange of fire, two more Indian-sponsored militants were eliminated by the security forces.
In third encounter that took place in general area Bagh, Khyber District, troops neutralized three more Indian sponsored terrorists.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed Indian sponsored militants, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in these areas.
