Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Dr Yasmeen Rashid has said the former prime minister will lead a long march from Lahore, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Tuesday.
"Khan Sahib said there is no period for peaceful protest. A long march can last several months," she said.
The marchers will remain peaceful as the party chief has time and again said the march is aimed at real freedom... it has nothing to do with harming anyone.
"If the government creates chaos, they will be told what peace is," she stressed. She shrugged off a question about what line of action after reaching the capital.
Former prime minister Imran Khan has announced that he will kickstart a long march to the federal capital Islamabad on Friday.
The long march will start from Liberty Chowk of Lahore at 11:00 am and head towards Islamabad from GT Road, he said while addressing a press conference in the Punjab capital. He added there is no timeframe for the conclusion of the long march.
