Prime Minister Imran Khan has urged the international community to raise voice against the deadly violence against Muslims in India.
At least 20 people have been killed in the communal violence that broke out on Sunday, a day ahead of President Trump's visit.
The demonstrations that started as a protest against BJP government's Hindutva policies, especially the anti-Muslim Citizenship Act, spread into a full-blown war between Hindus and Muslims in the north-eastern part of the Indian capital on Monday and Tuesday.
In a Twitter post on Wednesday, Premier Imran Khan said, "Today in India we are seeing the Nazi-inspired RSS ideology take over a nuclear-armed state of over a billion people. Whenever a racist ideology based on hatred takes over, it leads to bloodshed."
The Prime Minister said he had already predicted during his address at the United Nations General Assembly that "once the genie is out of the bottle, the bloodshed will get worse".
He said he had pointed out that the withdrawal of autonomy and clampdown in the Indian occupied Kashmir was just the beginning of a largescale which-hunt of Muslims in India by the extremist Hindus.

Prime Minister Imran Khan at the same time warned against targeting minorities in Pakistan in revenge for Indian Muslims.
"I want to warn our people that anyone in Pakistan targeting our non-Muslim citizens or their places of worship will be dealt with strictly. Our minorities are equal citizens of this country."
Shehbaz Sharif
Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif also strongly condemned the violence against Muslims in New Delhi.
“Modi is repeating the events of Gujrat in Delhi," he said in a statement.
"The international community should take notice of the violence against Muslims and the attacks on places of worship,” he appealed.
He urged all the sides to shun violence and asked Indian authorities to arrest all those involved in the riots.
Shehbaz Sharif also urged the Indian government to provide compensation to the victims.
He criticised US President Donal Trump for keeping silent on the violence that conincided with his trip to India.
Trump should have condemned the violence against Muslims during his official visit, Shehbaz added.
