Prime Minister Imran Khan has branded Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi “a psycho”.
Addressing a launching ceremony of Ehsaas Cash Emergency Programme in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) to help the people hit by Indian ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC) on Friday, Imran Khan said people in Occupied Kashmir are being blinded with the pellet guns being used by the Indian soldiers. “Massgraves have been found in Occupied Kashmir. Modi is following the RSS agenda,” he said.
“I am grateful today that we have been given an opportunity to help the people living around LoC braving hardships and economic losses due to cross border firing,” the premier said while addressing the ceremony here in Muzaffarabad.
AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider and President Sardar Masood Khan among other officials were also present during the occasion.
PM Imran said cash package worth Rs3 billion will benefit 138,000 families of AJK, residing along the de facto border between India and Pakistan.
Beside this, he said the 1.2 million health cards will also be distributed to the people of AJK which will enable them to avail treatment of up to Rs1 million free of charge.
Earlier in a tweet, Imran Khan said that as the world observed “International Day in Support of Victims of Torture”, the international community must hold India accountable for its human rights abuses in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
“Today on International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, I call on the international community to hold India accountable for its human rights abuses in IOJK where women, men & children have faced pellet guns, sexual assault, electrocution, & physical & mental torture,” the prime minister said on his Twitter handle.

Ehsaas cash relief
On the prime minister’s directive, around 138, 275 families of 219 villages living along LoC had been entitled for the emergency cash assistance. The families would receive monthly stipend of Rs 2,000 besides an emergency cash of Rs 12,000 to be given to the women of the said households.
The relief had been granted to the families as they lived under a constant risk of unprovoked firing by the Indian occupation forces and had suffered the losses of both lives and properties.
During past six months, India had committed 1440 ceasefire violations, martyring 13 people and leaving another 104 seriously injured.
The government had allocated Rs 3 billion for the said families. 17 Ehsaas Registration Centers had been established to facilitate the people for getting the entitlement cards.
During the visit to the AJK capital, the prime minister would also chair a meeting to discuss the coronavirus situation in the territory.
