A flight of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) was not allowed to land at Gilgit Airport due to bad weather, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the TV channel, the PIA flight, PK-605, was asked to return to Islamabad as it cannot land in Gilgit due to strong winds.

The flight took off from Islamabad to Gilgit. When it approached Gilgit Airport for landing, the captain sought permission but the air traffic controller (ATC) did not allow the plane to land and asked the pilot to return to Islamabad.
