The United State dollar continued to see an increase in its value against the Pakistani rupee on the back of increased inter-bank demand, reported 24News HCD TV channel Wednesday.

The price of the US dollar increased by 41 paisas against the Pakistani rupee in the inter-bank market trading on Wednesday.

After the latest surge, the new price of the greenback has crossed the Rs154 mark and reached Rs154.78.

According to the forex dealers, the dollar prices are continuing to soar due to the external payments and increase in the demand.

The dollar has seen an increase of Rs1.42 in the first three days of the current business week.

The US dollar also increased by 35 paisas in the open market from Rs155.90 to Rs156.25.
